I've not been brave enough to rely on zfs quite yet, but can confirm that for the most part cgd + raidframe work... though the autodetect can be a little problematic at times.
In regard to the zfs + cgd, with the cgd atop the zfs volume... I am not sure that is wise based off of a thread a few years back that said the encryption from cgd is best left to disks 1TB and smaller, due to anything larger possibly opening it up to easier attack? I believe it was in the tech-crypto list, and it may no longer be true... but I've limited my cgd use to the disks that make up an array, and not the final array for this reason. -Brandon
