I had to install the driver for my 1060 not too long ago and found it strange that it was under “GeForce 10 series” as opposed to something like a “GTX 10 series” category, since the GeForce name predates GTX and there are GPUs whose name is solely GeForce, without the GTX suffix (granted they are really old at this point).
