Hi, I am sorry for you inconvinience about cvsweb.NetBSD.org. It received the massive parallel accesses and they cause extremely high load average.
I have added such abusive remote hosts to the filter and adjusted some QOS and anti-DOS parameters to detect and reject such access. However all my attempts failed. bad@ suggested me use of www/anubis and I have added anubis in front of cvsweb.NetBSD.org. As side effect, http://cvsweb.NetBSD.org/ is no longer available sadly. All accesses for pages under http://cvsweb.NetBSD.org/ will be redirected to https://cvsweb.NetBSD.org/. After introduction of anubis, the load average was desreased to 1/100. I checked availabilities from my home network, my cell phone networks and my day job network. And I do not have a problem yet. If you cannot use https://cvsweb.NetBSD.org/, please provide me with description adout your problem.
