IMHO it is an error to build a package with any stale working directories. Don't do that. VAX floating point does not follow IEEE-754 (and I think it, or the PDP-11 fp that it is surely extended from, predates 754). Agreed that port-vax should be helpful. I remember the days when having your own uVAX-II was super cool! I am curious if Monica is using real hardware or simh.
