># savecore -n >savecore: can't find device 194/1 That would be an entry in /dev/mapper/* and savecore only scans for a device entry in /dev/* without recursing. N.B. the devices are also created by /etc/rc.d/lvm and actual device unit numbers _could_ change after a reboot.
