I'm on it, I hope to deliver both the project templates and the testcase for beta3, however it is the RM decision to take that or not.

Not supported yet at this stage, i.e., no project template for it in any
case -- I suggest we focus on Maven for JavaFX for NetCAT 12.0, unless
someone can put a test case together covering Gradle.

Hi all,

I propose we keep things short and sweet for JavaFX in NetCAT 12.0:

What do we think about the above -- now that we have Ernie's great work
done on the OpenJFX archetypes, in 12.0 Beta 2, the running and
debugging
should now be seamless.
There are four cases: IDE-JDK-version (8, 11+) vs JavaFX-version (8,
11+). In beta2 jdk8 is a mess with error badges and failed compiles. With
recent NB and archetype changes, which are in master and so should be in
beta3, all four combos should work cleanly.
I also ran into some problems with maven project creation (
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NETBEANS-4083), any maven project
not just fx. There's a PR pending/approved but it hasn't made it into
master yet. (hint)

What about Gradle-based JavaFX projects?
