for beta3, however it is the RM decision to take that or not.

There are four cases: IDE-JDK-version (8, 11+) vs JavaFX-version (8,
11+). In beta2 jdk8 is a mess with error badges and failed compiles. With

beta3, all four combos should work cleanly.
I also ran into some problems with maven project creation (
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NETBEANS-4083), any maven project
not just fx. There's a PR pending/approved but it hasn't made it into
master yet. (hint)
What about Gradle-based JavaFX projects?
