Miami in OS 3.5 will be a 'LITE' version of the normal Miami stack, no way
near as good as Genesis.

You don't /have/ to upgrade :)
You can always purchase upgrades to the software you want individually, this
is alternative option (ie. V3, AmIRC 3 etc), or not buy them at all.
Everyone's choice differs. People like YAM, others don't (as it's buggy).
People like AWeb, others don't (as they don't like the Classact interface).
BTW, just out of interest, why are you so adament you 'need' OS 3.5? :)
