Oliver,
The commands are working but, now the data is not showing up on the
Reports->Ports->Error Disabled Ports report, or on the ports page for the
device.
Or do I just need to wait for a day for the data to be polled?
Thanks!

Thanks Neil,
OK so your devices are being classified as Layer3::Cisco which is the basic
Cisco class and it does not support this feature.
I find this a bit weird as we have the Layer3::CiscoSwitch class which is the
same as Layer3::Cisco but with some additional stuff. I don't see why that's
not the default for Cisco (well, there is a philosophical argument here
perhaps, or I have just introduced bugs; we shall see).
So I have changed that, and released SNMP::Info 3.79.
Give it a few hours then run:
~netdisco/bin/localenv cpanm --notest SNMP::Info
Then restart netdisco-backend and rediscover the device, and I hope that the
methods test below now resolves, and the data will be in the tables (you can
poke at the device_port_properties table in the database to check).
regards
Oliver.

Subject: [External] Re: [Netdisco] Cisco port err-disabled detection
Hi Neil
This report relies on the i_err_disable_cause() method in SNMP::Info, so are
you getting anything from:
~netdisco/bin/netdisco-do show -e i_err_disable_cause -d 1.2.3.4 -DI
~netdisco/bin/netdisco-do show -e cErrDisableIfStatusCause -d 1.2.3.4 -DI
I am not sure how widely this method is implemented, for what classes, etc.
regards
Oliver

We have a cisco network.
Is there something I need enable/configure in order to make the report for err

I have forced a port into error disable state, but netdisco is not detecting it.
If this is an issue what information is needed to help troublshoot the issue.
Thanks!
