Hi,
I'm trying to include some Alcatel Omniswitches in our Netdisco
system. The equipment is discovered OK, all the data is acquired, the
port listing shows the connected switches, but in the map the Alcatel
has no connection to its neighbors.
I checked the Internet and found out (
https://github.com/Uninett/nav/issues/1903 ) that the Alcatel LLDP
information uses a local port identifier instead of the port name.
Apparently Netdisco doesn't know how to use this information to
identify the connections between the devices.
Any suggestions on how we can solve this problem?
