Hi,
OK, I found what was the problem.
Those edits that I had made to add tacacs: -part, were not used as the
~/environments/deployment.yml was not reloaded contrary to what I had expected
as that did with backend and. That also explains why web front logs did not
show until it reloading was done manually.
The netdisco-web start claimed the same so I tought it would happen
automatically, but it didn’t for some reason I don’t yet know. Had I simply
restarted system or both services that would have solved it too of course, but
I simply trusted what netdisco-web start told me <eh>.
netdisco@xxxxxxx:~$ ~/bin/netdisco-web start
Netdisco Web [Started]
config watcher: watching /home/netdisco/environments for updates.
netdisco@nxxxxxx:~$
I was happy to notice also that db schema hadn’t changed so much from the older
version that most integration scripts reading netdisco db I’ve made did not
need any or very little changes and production install will be much easier than
expected :)

I'm sorry you got hit by this and wasted a bit of time.
Yes, I tried very hard in the development of netdisco 2 to make no
breaking-changes to the database schema. I'm glad it works :)
If you want to share some of the patches or features you've added, please
open tickets especially if they might be items we could introduce to core
eventually.
