Pardon my ignorance on the subject, but how exactly does one modify these items
when NetDisco is deployed via Docker?

Hmm, OK, you could try a different net-snmp version:
~netdisco/bin/localenv cpanm --notest Alien::SNMP
and then restart the backend. This will override your operating system net-snmp
with a different version.
If it doesn't work out or goes wrong, just delete ~/perl5 and reinstall
netdisco per the cpanm line in the instructions.

oliver.

I modified the passphrase to not include any special characters a while back

Ariel,
Maybe NetDisco truncates your passphrase on a certain (special) character? An @
maybe?
I'm not sure if there is a way to reveal the phrase in the netdisco-do output.

Koen

I have been working to get SNMPv3 working with my Cisco switches, however no
matter what I do I can’t seem to get it working with NetDisco. I have confirmed
I can connect with SNMPv3 with two other tools we utilize without any issue.
Any help would be appreciated. The error “Error: passphrase chosen is below the
length requirements of the USM (min=8).” shows in the output, however the
passphrase is 15+ characters long.
