When is a Cisco not a real Cisco?
Sounds like some new Cisco acquisition/creation/abomination rebranded with
a Cisco sticker that will likely require a whole new model based more on
generic Linux assumptions than Cisco IOS. It'll need to be modeled as
though you just bought some random Chinese switch on amazon, same as their
wonky small business platform, even nxos originally.
This is why I stopped using and recommending Cisco (and HP), every new
product is something distinctly NOT using a standard Cisco OS, which means
you end up creating new management tooling entirely for it anyways, and
just diminishes the value of buying a single vendor entirely. Even with a
dozen versions of "IOS" over 30 years alone, Cisco has long been a mess if
you work with network management tools.

Eg cisco C1131X-8PLTEPWZ shows up as Products.3122.. I think we should put the

Hi Koen, you should be able to just overwrite the file if it's genuinely an
updated release of the MIB (there should be a version number incremented in
it). Then restart Netdisco.
Please can you open a ticket on github and either attach the new MIB or point
us to where you can get it (I think Cisco has a github repo?).
regards
oliver.

Seems the CISCO-PRODUCTS-MIB in Netdisco is not the latest one?
C1300 series switches are identified as Products.3242
Should I overwrite netdisco-mibs/cisco/CISCO-PRODUCTS-MIB.my
or add it to netdisco-mibs/cisco/ZZ-CISCO-PRODUCTS-MIB-CORRECTIONS.my?
The current MIB in my Netdisco goes up to .3104.
A MIB I found goes up to .3253

Hi Oliver, I found the MIB its on git hub in Cisco’s main repository.
This is the main products MIB. The last update appears last month – Can you
update SNMP Info with this latest revision?
https://github.com/cisco/cisco-mibs/blob/main/v2/CISCO-PRODUCTS-MIB.my
I see the router appearing
ciscoC1131X8PLTEPWZ OBJECT IDENTIFIER ::= { ciscoProducts 3122
} -- Cisco C1131X-8PLTEPWZ 8 Ports GE LAN Router with 8GB memory, Pluggable LTE
(Advanced Pro), 802.11ax WLAN -Z Domain, 2 RJ45/SFP combo GE WAN, USB 2.0 and
RJ45 console
Also 1300 switches are there
ciscoC130048T4X OBJECT IDENTIFIER ::= { ciscoProducts 3242
} -- Catalyst 1300 Series Managed Switch, 48-port GE, 4x10G SFP+ (C1300-48T-4X)
