Bug #1697: Rancid -> 2.3.6 IOS XE flash differs
https://osl.uoregon.edu/redmine/issues/1697#change-3016
Author: Swen ska
Status: Resolved
Priority: Low
Assignee: Carlos Vicente
Category: DeviceManagement
Target version: 1.0.3
Resolution: fixed
RANCID above 2.3.6 is able to deal with the change files on the flash file
system on Cisco IOS XE. netDot use the file "lib/Netdot/Exporter/Rancid.pm" to
use "cisco-xr" instead of "cisco" to deal with Cisco IOS XE, with is wrong and
doesn't deal with the changing files on the flash filesystem.
To fix the issue:
lib/Netdot/Exporter/Rancid.pm needs to be adjusted:
185,187c185
< if ( $sysdescr =~ /IOS-XE/o ){
< $mfg = 'cisco-xr';
< }elsif ( $sysdescr =~ /NX-OS/o ){
---
> if ( $sysdescr =~ /NX-OS/o ){
Cheers

Was this on 1.0.1? Can you confirm that this also happens on 1.0.2?

Bug #1703: Error during creation of reverse dns zone
https://osl.uoregon.edu/redmine/issues/1703#change-3017
Author: Florian Sch?del
Status: New
Priority: Normal
Assignee: Carlos Vicente
Category: DNS
Target version: 1.0.1
Resolution:
Hi,
I got the following error, when I want to create a reverse dns zone for an
existing class-c network:
zone_tasks.html produced the following error:
Can't use an undefined value as an ARRAY reference at
/usr/local/netdot/lib/Netdot/Model/Zone.pm line 242.
Stack:
[/usr/local/netdot/lib/Netdot/Model/Zone.pm:242]
[/usr/local/netdot/lib/Netdot/Model/Zone.pm:215]
[/usr/local/netdot/htdocs/management/zone_tasks.html:172]
[/usr/local/netdot/htdocs/management/autohandler:81]
[/usr/share/perl5/HTML/Mason/Request.pm:948]
[/usr/local/netdot/htdocs/masondata/obj/1249759374/management/autohandler.obj:21]
[/usr/local/netdot/htdocs/autohandler:76]
The same error appears on "Manamgent" => "DNS-Zones" => "new"
(https://.../netdot/management/zone_tasks.html?view=new)
as well as on "Management" => "Address Space" => ... Subnet ... => ... Subnet
... => "Zones" => "add" Reverse-Zone
(https://.../netdot/management/ip.html?id=xyz&view=Zones)
After restarting of Apache and some additional tries the Reverse Zone was
created.
This looks like a bad situation regarding Caching and so on?!
many thanks in advance
Florian
