Resolution:
After a while, the NetDot web page will no longer allow a login. After you
type valid credentials and click Continue, it erases what you typed, and
provides no error message.
A reboot of the virtual machine overrides the issue for a while, until it
returns again for no reason.

Resolution:
Apache is not autostarting on the VM image. Once the image is booted, you are
able to start Apache by issuing the command sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 start --
and it starts without issue.
