Bug #1846: Exporter.pl changes detection

Target version: 1.0.7
Resolution:
Hi,
I've got some problems with the"exporter.pl" script and the changes detection.
(For information I use Netdot 1.0.5)
If I change a record from toto.domain1 to toto.domain2 in "DNS Record" page by
click on [edit] and by select an other zone (domain2), the change is ok but
isn't export into the DNS file.
Only the reverse record is export in reverse DNS file.
I use "exporter.pl -t BIND,DHCPD". I don't find anything about that in mailing
list. It will be really great if this forgetfulness can be correct in the next
version.
To solve the problem I'm constrained to use the "-f" option that force the
export (of all records).
I try to get some information about that problem in mailing list
(http://article.gmane.org/gmane.network.netdot.user/1241/match=exporter+pl) but
it really seems to be a "bug".
Thank you.
Bye

Bug #1847: Move record to another subnet
https://osl.uoregon.edu/redmine/issues/1847
Author: Romain Nuel

Target version: 1.0.7
Resolution:
Hi,
I've discover a bug when I change the IP of a record from one subnet to another
by [edit] in the IP Block part.
First the A DNS change isn't detect by exporter.pl like I describe in another
ticket (ticket #1846).
Secondly the +PTR record which is create is incorrect+.
Example:
from: 192.168.1.20 toto domain1 (subnet 192.168.1.0/24)
to: 172.16.24.45 toto domain1 (subnet 172.16.24.0/24)
PTR record look like this in Netdot after changes:
Name: 45.24.16.172.in-addr.arpa
Zone: 1.168.192.in-addr.arpa
In DNS file (reverse 192.168.1) : 45.24.16.172.in-addr.arpa IN PTR ...
It should be like this (in Netdot):
Name: 45
Zone: 24.16.172.in-addr.arpa
I hope I was understandable.
Thank you.
