Issue #1876 has been reported by Robin Johansson.
----------------------------------------
Bug #1876: SNMP poll via IPv6 not working
https://osl.uoregon.edu/redmine/issues/1876
Author: Robin Johansson
Status: New
Priority: High
Assignee:
Category: DeviceManagement
Target version:
Resolution:
When I try to poll ipv6 devices I get the following error:
Device::_get_snmp_session: Cannot connect to 1234::5678. Tried communities:
public
The only difference from another working device is the snmp target address,
where an ipv6 address is selected.
Verified that snmp works towards the same device via console on the netdot
server with `snmpwalk -v2c -c public udp6:[1234::5678]:161`.
Listed as high prio as this is blocking the discovery process for more and more
devices for us.
