I have installed netdot and it has been working for some time. But for close to
a week now
I cannot login to the web application.
I checked the apache error logs and opened /var/log/httpd/netdot-error_log and
found below in the file
[Thu Sep 08 16:03:05.971630 2016] [:error] [pid 2679] Problem making new user
object:
Could not open file
(/usr/local/netdot/tmp/sessions/locks/Apache-Session-8e9e8a915989844d35691afb4dc05f19.lock)
for writing:
Permission denied at /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/Apache/Session/Lock/File.pm
line 75.\n
Anytime I try to login a different file comes up.
Kindly help.

What permissions do you have on /usr/local/netdot/tmp/sessions/locks/?
Make sure that Apache can read/write to that directory

As posted apache has read/write access to the locks file. I search for the
.lock files being complained about and they cannot be found.
I believe this is not an issue of permissions but lost file.
