thx for the info. I was also wondering if you could make a computer relay
information.
its similar to a gateway, but it only needs 1 interface. The purpose i'm
trying to accomplish is
use multiple computer on multiple lines. This is because my friends and i
are all on the same ISP
and the ISP hooks us up together like a LAN, but each of our individual
lines are capped
at 250kb/sec for uploading to the internet, but we can upload to each outer
at 1.3mb/sec
I hope this picture turns out how i want it when i e-mail it out:
INET
|
|
|
ISP
/|\
/ | \
/ | \
/ | \
Server2 | Server3
|
|
Apache Server
So since our lines are capped to the internet i want the apache server to
send 1/3 of the
packets straight to the internet, 1/3 to Server2 to send to the internet and
1/3 to Server3
to send to the internet.
Is this possible? If i were using Server2 and Server3 as a gateway i would
know how to do
it, but thats not the case here.
Thanks in advanced
