hello,

I am searching for a complete diagram of a nated packet path,
what chains it traverses, when data is altered, etc...

I have a linux box acting as a gateway. it is having two network
cards one with an internet routable ip address and another one
with an private one 192.168.0.1/24 I also have three workstations
(.2, .3, .4) witch are nated.

I am extremely interested to know how much traffic is generating
each of the four computers (the three workstations and the linux
box itself)

from what I have read until now it is not possible, is this true ?

thanks,
razvan radu
