hi
i have applied many patches to kernel source and compiled it on my box.now i dont
want to repeat this procedure each time.i was trying to make rpm of my kernel.i tried
to locate spec file for it but i was not able to find it.can any one tell me how can
i make rpm of my kernel source.
second problem is that i m using iptables for packet filtering,i m generating logs
thru iptables, by default logs are created in /var/log/messages
i want that these logs should be generated in a separate file like /var/log/firewall.
pls also tell me that can i write a php or C code that continuosly reads log,so
that i can process these logs in "real time".
