I disagree. I think it's better to let people not on the list (for example, those who discover the archives, but do not subscribe) to post their questions. Forcing them to subscribe first is an unnecessary barrier, especially to the newbies who are just learning about netfilter, and may not be too familiar with mailing lists... That said, I very much agree that it would be good to stop this recent space of "charset=ks_c_5601-1987" emails from getting on to the list server. Antony.
