We seem to have had this time and time again on this list - and in fact
it happened to me all those months ago.

A standard RH 7.2 install will set up ipchains. Thus, you have the
ipchains modules loaded. "chkconfig --del ipchains";
/etc/rc.d/init.d/ipchains stop"; 'lsmod | grep ipchains'; 'rmmod
everything to do with ipchains'; "chkconfig --add
 iptables";"/etc/rc.d/init.d/iptables start".

You will need /etc/iptables.rules; in this config file (which is a shell
script) you'll need to load the iptables modules you want:

modprobe ip_tables
modprobe ip_conntrack
modprobe ip_conntrack_ftp

After that, the fun starts.
