Hello!
I am working on a system for our conference room that allows multiple people
to connect to the internet/VPN through personal laptops, etc. I have this
problem where certain people have staticly assigned ips and therefore cannot
connect. The other sysadmin guy thought it might be possible to use
iptables to masq the (any) static ips as one on the server and redirect it
to the net. I was able to make multiple aliases for listening, but this
will only work for reserved (A, B, C) ranges. Is it possible to use
iptables to do this?
We are using it as the firewall and the router. Here is a picture for
detail.
client----(some abitrary ip)---->[SERVER (forward
ip)]--10.0.0.100-->{INTERNET}
Thanks for the help!
