hi!
thank you for replying.
I've searched on google, but maybe i just need a mentor. :-)

i'm not sure i can get DNAT to work, but to be ownest i don't think i need it.
I haven't tried portforwarding  yet either and i assume i need that
to get file transfers to work over icq/irc.

well..i'm sure i'll find a NAT howto somewhere..

If someone here feel that they like to help people with NAT
please add me on icq, 49946637. Thanks!

Markus,
    I'm loading
/sbin/modprobe iptable_nat
/sbin/modprobe iptable_nat
/sbin/modprobe ip_tables
/sbin/modprobe iptable_filter
/sbin/modprobe ip_conntrack
/sbin/modprobe ip_conntrack_ftp
/sbin/modprobe ip_nat_ftp
What are you trying to learn about?   Search on Google ;)

Subject: Want to learn more but dont know how

Hi all!
I've read the ipmasque and iptables howto but i still feel
that there is so much more i need to learn.

My NAT is working good so i've learned basic stuff.

If you know any other sites than www.ipmasq.cjb.net and www.iptables.org
that describes iptables and NAT, please post.

I also wonder what modules are required to be loaded
for iptables to work.

thanks in advance.
