Hello. I use iptables on my 3 public servers. One nic and one public IP on every server.
Now I need to take this 3 server and put all in a DMZ zone behind a firewall. I use Web services ( SMTP WWW DNS )on this 3 servers, if i put all server behind a firewall and i use an private IP on this machines, and all publics IP go to the external firewall NIC. I use redirection to flush the traffic on the correct internal server. This is a normal configuration( I hope....). My question is: There is any problem with the Web services ??? Or is all the same This servers is 100% compatible in internet ?? Or there is a services do not function on this conf. I have explained well ???? Sorry but my english is....... Tanx
