Hello,
I'm looking for help on my
configuration.
I have actually the following network
:
Internet
-------ppp0---------ppp1-------
|
Linux Router
|
| FTP/WEB
server |
|
| -----------------eth0--------------
LAN
(10
computers)
Because of my little bandiwth on the two ppp links
(1024/256),
I'm looking for doing load balancing in two
ways :
I want to have the computer on the LAN being
masqueraded dynamically with one of the ppp link (the least
loaded).
And, if it's possible, have connections to my
web/ftp servers being balanced through the two links (like BGP do, but as far
as i know,
i can't have BGP on xDSL links).
For the internal routing, I'm thinking about masquerading on a teql virtual interface, but
dunno if it could work.
And for external balancing, i've heard about DNS
balancing, but haven't found any paper on it.
Is there any iptables script or patch for these
purposes ?
Thanks for help,
