hi i asked the question before and tried the tip u told me but it didnt work. As i told before when i use to use nm ver2.1 there was no problem with my audio during meeting, after downloading ver3.1 and win 98 whenever i use netmeeting duriing or even before my audio get screwed up , for instance if i gets a sudden call and a ring the ringing bell got stuck like ring ring ring ring ring or drug drug drug or some this sorts of repetative sounds. And after that i cant use audio intil i reboot my computer but i can still play my cd music when this repetative sounds are coming and i cant hear anyother regular sounds. But it should be noted that if i dont use netmeeting there never ever is any problem with my audio system no matter what i do. As i have ver3 i have tried all combination in tool menu for audio like disabling direct sound , enable and all other combinations with other options , nothing works I even have disabled it with the utility which disables it for ver 2.1 and ran the utility with netmeeting but no cure. i have Yamaha sound card with latest drivers.
