Its just that some schools have logons. Either Novell, kerberos, AFS, or
something else. But then those should have little effect unless it was
needed for some TCP/IP wrapper like some Novell setups.
Does she have a domain name or a permanent IP address? The school is on
Internet2 so Dan and I should have a better connection then you if its the
internet connection thats messing things up. See no network traffic between
our two schools ever touch the internet so if say the internet connection
had some setup preventing NM from working the Internet2 connection may work
correctly.
