Dear All,
I have a conferencing video kit consisting of a camera and its own video
capturing card. This hardware came with a program called VDO-Phone. I
thought that I could call friends whom have a PC and a camera i.e.: parallel
port camera or VideoCam recorder, and see them whilst we talk. To call them
directly by dialling the phone number line that the modem is connected to,
without having to use NetMeeting or the CUseeme program.
When I dial the number through the program it display the following message:
<<You are using a "non-video ready modem". Please make sure that the remote
party uses a "non-video ready modem" as well, otherwise the conversation
will fail. Do you wish to continue? Yes/No.>>
What I am doing wrong or am I using the wrong software or technique?.
Kind regards,
Rodrigo
