Subject: [NetMeeting] VBS.Freelink Virus
Has anyone got a problem with the"check this" VBS>Freelink virus that was
passed around on here last week? Spent much time and am not sure if I got
rid of it or not used Mcafee and one version on line said i had it but could
not clean it and the installed version3.1.8 said it found no virus and they
told me to gey new version 4.03 or such and that says I dont have it but I
did click on the damn thing and saw the adult directory. When i send Email
it does not also send a paper clip indicating an attachment I sent several
to myself at another site and some to a few friends and they see nothing. Is
there a way to be sure I dont have it still? I tried to download several
anti virus prgrams only to have a message pop up saying error occured or its
not a DR. Watson file, which i loaded from microsoft during the Chernoble
Virus epidemic. Does it hurt to run more than one virus program? How do I
get to a site that knows who DR. Watson is?
