Is there anybody using PictureTel 550? We installed a PictureTel 550 card
with camera for testing, but got some problems. Highly appreciate if you
could offer help on the followings:
1) The camera seems support only PictureTel. If I use NetMeeting alone
without starting PictureTel 550, there is no audio and video for the
NetMeeting. How to get the audio and video ON with NetMeeting alone?
2) The same thing happened to CU-SeeMe. There is no video for CU-SeeMe
although the camera is physically installed. How to make the camera work
with CU-SeeMe?
3) Does the person I call have to have PictureTel 550 too? When we tried to
use PictureTel with NM at one end and use NM alone at the other end, we
always got some problems: no audio, or one-way audio, no video, or one-way
video. Really don't know why.
4) The camera may stop working sometimes, by itself, especially when there
is other applications running (e.g. IE), and as the result, the video
becomes still dead image. How to settle this?
