Hi frank, i'd like to thank you for the link to WINNOV , and i hope you won't mind a quick query . I've been using netmeeting 3.1 with an avermedia inter-cam usb camera ,with decent results for a couple of months . However , my problem lies in what i believe is a lack of a capture card .Any video-mail programs I've attempted to use (and I've downloaded almost all of them ) will not run my camera . My video card is an STB Velocity 4400 , and I'm beginning to get a clue that the card is my problem ( can you tell how green I am yet ???lol ) . The capture cards on Winnov's site , in particular the Videum VO (PCI) ,seem to be what is missing...am I on the right track? By the way , the setback I'm experiencing is preceded by an annoying error message that repeats 5 -10 times telling me that the camera is already in use by another application . At which point the Vid/mail app tells me it cannot continue with video support , only audio . This event has occurred with CUCME , VideoMail Express , Acer EasyAxcess ,and a few other similar apps . As I said , netmeeting works without a hitch , but I'd really love to send the family video mail. If you think you can spare me a minute and let me know about the WINNOV card , I'd be eternally grateful. Thanx , Sturgis Nikides Frank Belland wrote: > look at WINNOV > http://www.winnov.com > supports WIN95, Win98, NT rel 4.0 and new win/NT 2000 > frank > ************END OF NOTE****** > Frank Belland > AMTLABS EIS Orlando Fla > Advanced Networking & Operating Systems > UNIX, WINDOWS/2000, Win98, ISDN, ATM, MS SQL 7.0, > IIS4.5, IIS/2000, HP OpenView(UNIX & NT), WWW, OFFICE/2000 > 407-306-7299 > 407-306-1530 (Fax) > Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > -----Original Message----- > From: Kang Zhijian [SMTP:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Thursday, September 30, 1999 3:23 AM > To: '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' > Subject: [NetMeeting] NT Camera support both NetMeeting and CU-SeeMe > > Hi, > > Could anyone recommend me good video cameras/capture cards that work with > both NetMeeting and CU-SeeMe client in Window NT 4 environment? > > We need to do multi-point meeting with NetMeeting application sharing > features available (supposing we have a CU-SeeMe MeetingPoint server).
