Subject: [NetMeeting] Speed dial list on NM3
I had been using NM 2.01 for two years before
upgrading to NM3 recently. I have made many friends
and have added them to my speed dial list. As you know
at times it can be difficult to find friends on the
servers if they are logged on. The speed dial list in
NM2 makes it easer to find friends because it tells
you if they are logged on or not.
When I upgraded to NM3 all of my friends were still on
my speed dial list, however instead of an icon that
informs you of their online status it was replaced
with their e-mail address.
So is there any way to use the speed dial list in NM3
to determine if a friend is logged on or not. Do I
have to turn something on to get a logged on icon or
what. If there is no way to tell if a friend is logged
on, what is the use of the speed dial list in NM3. It
makes no sense to sit there and attempt to call every
person on the speed dial list only to get a message
that says "net meeting could not locate the computer
you are trying to call or they may not be logged on".
Can ayone please help me.
Keith
