I apologize in advance, but I just joined this discussion yesterday. I
missed the reason ya'll are fleeing 3.01 like rats from a sinking ship. I
was planning on using it for the rollout of remote control on 500 or so NT
boxes. Have you discovered something I should know???
Please advise.

I've also backed out from NM3 to NM211.
I also didn't have the NM211 installation files but I found out they are
still available at Microsoft as part of Internet Explorer 5.0 download
package. Here's how I did it:
1. Downloaded IE5 using customized options
2. Selected only the Netmeeting option (I had IE5 already installed; I'm
not
sure if this will work with older IE versions)
3. Selected save it to disk instead of installing directly from the down
load
site (this will download only NM211 plus some auxiliary files and not the
whole IE5 package!).
4. Run IE5setup.exe from the Windows Update Setup Files directory created
during the download process
5. Again selected only the Netmeeting component option
6. Got Netmeeting 2.11 installed in the Program Files directory; although
no
shortcut was added to the Start Menu tool bar the program works fine.
