I don't think ILS 1.5 is available -- I have never even heard of it.
The "not supported" statement I think is a thinly veiled attempt to get you
to purchase Site Server 3.0 at big dollars.
As to what ILS is part of -- I think the question is hard to answer. ILS V2
requires IIS so I guess it could be called part of IIS but really it is a
separate LDAP server running on port 389.
I think Exchange also includes an LDAP server running on port 389 that
obviously will conflict with ILS 2. I am not sure how the LDAP server is
"aligned" in Site Server 3.0.
I think all bets will be off when Windows 2000 is released though.
