I had the same problem before, everytime i tried to start NM 2.1/3.0/3.01... it
always crashed. But i am not sure whether the error message is the same with
yours, but hopefully i can help you out.
what i did to fix it was by downloading the new driver of the cam and then
installed it.
And it solved the problem.
