I've been having problems with the My Video freezing, and so I thought that
maybe I messed up in installing Netmeeting.
Is there an order in which netmeeting must be installed along with other
components of a video conferencing system? For example, should netmeeting be
installed before or after installation of the software and hardware of the
Web
camera, or does such an order not matter? The instructions for the camera
(Intel)
say to install the software before hooking up the USB camera. I thought that
maybe I should have installed Netmeeting also before hooking up the camera.
Also, perhaps related to netmeeting installation: is Microsoft WDM image
capture
device used by Netmeeting? (It's under control
panel/multimedia/devices/video
capture devices.) When this is disabled, the Intel Video Phone softawre (I'm
using
an Intel camera) doesn't list the Intel camera as a capture device, so I
thought that
maybe whether WDM was enabled or disabled also had an impact on
Netmeeting.
