Hi,
I want to set up two permanent communication hubs in two different countries, with a
videochat link between them (there would be 2-4 PC's with camera setups on each end).
How would you guys suggest that I go about this, in terms of Netmeeting (or some other
software you think is better)? I would have leased lines on both ends and the cameras
could theoretically be running for days at a time, preferably without having to turn
anything off and on.
Would I do better to 'upload' the streaming video to a website and then 'download' it
from the other end? Would Quicktime and other streaming video applications come in
handy (remember though, this is a live transmission, nothing recorded)? Would IP-to-IP
be good? My own ILS? Netmeeting w/ICQ? You see - I have a feeling any other ILS would
boot me off once they figured I was hogging their bandwidth so much.
Thanks - hope I didn't ask too much
Gil R.
