Yes, I'm very impressed with the Sorenson Video CODECs and with the
QDesign audio CODECs as well.
The MacOS recognizes any CODEC that's installed and although I'd
never use an internet telephony CODEC with Quicktime the opportunity
is there to add any CODEC of your choice. If someone doesn't like
QDesign's CODECs one can install MPEG etc.
In both versions 2.x and 3.x of Netmeeting I noticed that an install
on WinNT cuts your audio CODEC options in almost half compared to an
install on Win98...yes you guessed it...the better ones are not
available.
That's really pathetic but I won't rant.
