[NetMeeting] Sound

I am quite pleased with my contacts on netmeetings ,BUT the sound bugs me .I have a delay of about 10 seconds and sometime even this brakes up ,this happens on all of the iLs I have tried, also I would like to know why it's so difficult to get someone to accept you when looking for a contact. thanks for reading this, will be pleased for any data.
