Hello - thanks in advance. I have purchased 2 Ezonics easypro cameras. I am
using one, and my 70 y.o. mother is attempting to use the other for video
calls to and from COsta Rica. Two problems keep occuring.
#1 - on my end ( when I transmit ) packets of audio are continously lost so
that the audio is choppy. It does work better when I use audio only option.
I am using a head set, and I have tried modifying the codec to the smallest
kb per second. Any advice on which one is the best to use? or other advice?
I am not running any other programs at the time and I have tried to use a
ping plotter to determine where the lost packets are occuring - but,
frankly, I don't under stand that software. I have tried both my ISP
(University of MN ) and AOL with no difference. Advice?
#2 - We have to continuously keep reloading the software for my mothers
camera - specifically the driver <p35u.dll> file. For some reason when she
logs off and then restarts her computer, the driver gets lost and the
program states that there is no video capture device available. We have
completely deleted and reloaded all of the files for the Camera at least 10
times. USB port is not plugged in while we are reloading, USB port IS
plugged in when the computer is started. I'm stumped. Thanks.
