Hi,
Has anyone any experience of an
Omnivision USB camera?
A friend of mine bought one to go on the end of a
PCI/USB card. It installed fine and the programmes supplied with it (preview/
video recorder/player etc) all worked fine but when used in Netmeeting the
camera freezes when video is incoming to the machine.
I took it from hiim and
installed it on a second machine I have here, (Pentium 300) on a small home
network but the symptoms remain the same. I am using a Philips USB camera on my
number one machine (Pentium II).
So to recap : The drivers install and appear to
work well with the manufaturer's supplied programmes but fall over when used in
Netmeeting (3.01 Build 4.4.3388) using
built in USB port (pentium III 700) or
PCI/USB port (Pentium 300)
Has anyone got a fix or suggestion as to a
workaround??
