Note that I don't recommend it for all situations. If all you can afford is
$100 or you don't want to open up your computer to install something, I'd go
with a USB camera like the ViCam/3Com.

If you already have a great video card, DVD controller, and sound card and
want to get a good PCI-based video capture card I'd go with a videocapture
card from Winnov. (Winnov also works best on Windows 2000/NT out of all the
PCI-based devices I've seen so far).

The MaxIC card is best when you need one card that does everything. It's a
great choice if you're building a PC from scratch, for instance, or if you
are out of PCI slots.
