[NetMeeting] Audio Send and Receive

My bother in law is having a problem sending and receiving voice through 
netmeeting.The video comes through fine. I was always under the impression 
that you had to use a full duplex modem to be able to send and receive voice 
through netmeeting. Is there a way to set up a winfax modem to work with 
netmeeting?
