Actually, I bought a ZOOM..the US Robotics/3 com 56K Winmodem has a problem
...I found that out after buying my 3rd one in a year. Wound up "tweaking"
them with a hammer. They knock you off line, then when you try to
reconnect, it acts like the line is "dirty"...all kinds of static, and fails
to pick up a dial tone. 3 com told me to send it in for warranty work.
I just got a DSL modem...has anyone got any advice for me on using them with
Netmeeting?
Also..my company is moving us from Exchange mail to Lotus Notes mail...and
using VPN. .have always used our Exchange mailbox to do our calls. Now my
customers will be in Exchange/Windows Terminal Servers...but I will not.
Anyone had experience with this type of configuration?
Thanks..looking for "Best Practices"
