Surely you only need to turn off the options for displaying your name in the
server directory and for accepting all callers. Then noone will know that
you are online unless you have arranged to meet them there. If anyone
somehow finds out that you are there, but you do not want to meet with them,
you can refuse to accept them when their name appears as wanting to join
your meeting.

Don't log on to a server -- use Msn Messenger or Visitalk's buddy option as
a calling strategy - that way the only people that know you are online are
those in your authorized buddy list.
