Well I would approach it like this:
1)Are you running any H.323 applications like Dialpad.com or MS Messenger
etc. If so Reboot and exit these first before starting Netmeeting.(you can
run 1 H.323 application per windows session in most cases)
2) Are using Internet Connection Sharing? If so uninstall it.
3) Do you have sufficient Bandwidth check your connection speed you
probably want to Transmit at > 5 K bytes/sec or better for good
video.
4) If you are behind proxy, firewall, or a device that does NAT and/or
internet connection sharing you may want to check with its documentation
first to see if you can configure properly.
4) a) If you cant get through this device you may have to get around with a
H.323 proxy like Phone Patch or Avirt.
5) Is the device you are accessing the network H.323 compatable? There are
some "intelligent Bridges" on the market that make connection easy and
inexpensive for them but do not work with H.323 or other telecomferencing
protocols.
