Adrian, my mother has the same problem [the computer freezing when
terminating a NM call on Win2000] and she's running Windows 2000 Pro and NM3
Sp1 (though I'll ask her to upgrade to SP2 to see if that fixes it). Also:

Brian, thanks for the link
[http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q263/3/16.ASP ]; in part,
that page says

"If calls that are made to a server"

In most cases she has called me, so that condition doesn't apply

"use the Real Time Protocol (RTP) as the transport protocol, under stress
conditions,"

'under stress conditions' is obviously very vague, but I doubt her computer
was running anywhere near full capacity (in terms of processor being used
and/or RAM being used)

The suggested fix is

"To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows 2000."

I'll ask her to do this; Adrian, have you got the lates SP installed?

Best regards

Eric Baber
