The ability to make NetMeeting calls using Messenger on XP was removed a
couple of versions ago

Calling via IP address is the strategy most often used these days but an ILS
based call is possible.

I am not sure what "Open" implies in this case but presumably you are using
a router of some kind. This will mean that you will not be callable in
NetMeeting from outside your wireless network (it is often possible to allow
one station to be callable though by using the router configuration to make
it the "dmz" machine and having the other party call you at the public IP of
the router). It will also generally mean that NetMeeting outgoing calls from
your end will have no incoming audio/video.

Potentially ( depending on the router in use) Messenger audio/video calls
also will not be possible.
