Dear NMOP, NETCONF and NETMOD, Addressing the first milestone in the NMOP charter, I published draft-netana-nmop-yang-kafka-integration as an informational document.
It describes an architecture for YANG-Push to Apache Kafka Integration and refers to previously in NETCONF published documents enhancing NETCONF notifications, YANG Push messages and YANG Library. It contains work of the last 18 months which was presented at side meetings since IETF 115. This document has been requested by many peers since it was sometimes hard to understand how a specific extension fit in the overall picture. I hope it will help to give the overall context. It will be presented in NMOP at IETF 119. I am looking forward to your review, comments and feedback in the meanwhile.
